I have only had the couch for 2 months, and one of my daughters friends dropped a cigarette on the arm part of the couch, hence> i now have a lovely cigarette burn in this new bonded leather (vinyl i think, or not much leather in it) couch.
Is there anything on the market that can help repair the burn mark?

Chosen Answer:

Flip the couch over and see if you can cut a SMALL piece of material from the fold that is usually stapled to the frame. Flip the couch back upright. Use a piece of old sheet or something similar and cut a square LARGER than the burn hole. (The sheet material will be the backing to give your repair piece a surface to glue to). Tuck the sheet into the small burn hole opening and flatten, using a toothpick, apply fabric adhesive between the two pieces of material. Once the glue has dried to the underside of the burn hole opening edge, trace the hole and cut the material that you took from the couch when you flipped it, cut out your circle or whatever the shape is when you traced the opening and apply fabric adhesive to the back side of the repair patch, include the inside edge of the burn hole and press in place. This will give you the closet color match. Use a clean toothpick to flush the edge of the repair to keep it smooth. Let the adhesive dry.
